I definitely needed this, Thomas. Glad I found your post! It’s something I know I should work on, having better, more positive expectations of myself and others around me. I do also value humility and modesty as to avoid arrogance, but I’ve found that that sometimes comes with the sacrifice of your core values or knowing what you’re worth and personally, that’s even worse than possibly coming off as “over-confident” to those one or two people.

Everything is a balance, and we should be careful not to set unrealistic expectations for ourselves and others, but we should never believe that we’re incapable of achieving greatness.
